During the Nova Scotia summers, if you are out on a lake, you may be lucky enough to come across a patch of lake lilies. And if the sky is clear, their cloud like pedals may reflect off the sky blue waters. Not only are the pedals white, but they are also a little translucent, making the pollen encrusted stamen bounce it’s golden light amongst the white corridors of pedals.
