The inspiration for this painting came to Dan from listening to David Bowie’s, Heroes song

The power and energy in the song and also the dream of being able to ‘swim like dolphins’, erupted into this amazing abstract painting.

Literally throwing paint on the canvas with his hands, smearing it with is finger, and push it around with several different tools, a dolphin emerged from the water to dance in a fiery sky.
